5 Tips to Peak Week Perfection

I reflected on some things I learned this past year of competing.


Here are my 5 tips to peak week perfection!


Nail You Look Before the Show

Find the best version of yourself before you get to the stage.


Associate that with a scale weight number and try to walk on stage around that weight.


Diuretics We Can Do Without

This is such a roll of the dice and odds are in favor of looking flat.


There is a brief moment you might improve, but most people never nail this.


I haven’t touched one all of last year.


Carbs and Water

Carbs are your greatest tool to change your look and this should be deployed base on your previous data (refeeds, etc).


Backloads have there place in weight cutting situations however a very predictive approach is a gradual linear load day by day.


Water need to be high as you load and slight decrease on show day can be enough.


Oral AAS

The systemic stress impact on an oral is fairly high.


The rationale for use is to get harder or fuller.


We should address root drivers of water retention first, is it cortisol, RAAS, or estrogen.


The might look like fatigue management, ARB deployment, and AAS/GH stack adjustment over just using an oral.


Carbs are going to drive fullness over any drug, however there are so AAS if completely shredded can be deployed and vastly improve the look.


Make A Low Stress Environment

Plan, plan, plan.


You need to have everything convenient as possible for you during peak week.


This should be a stress relief week, feel like a vacation.


Not the time to be racing around and stress driven.


I have seen looks ruined to a point of no return just from someone mental perception of the situation.
