Tampa Pro

1 week Out-Posing improvements-Backloading

ATHLETE SUMMARY:

Really did a lot of thinking after Chicago and why I have been delayed in posting this plan, as I was unsure and also waiting on Renee’s decision as well. In Chicago I needed more fullness in my upper body, mainly front shots. Some of this comes down to more development but I could feed more into the show as well. I realized this after eating post show and seeing my weight hit around 214-215 and being very full and reasonable hard. To be that full I will sacrifice condition, but it will still be on par for what is presented on the pro stage. I also have some poses I can improve on like my front double and overhead ab and thigh. I also need to tan darker. So I can be better going into Tampa.

The other aspect is to really see out the best version of myself I feel I do need an offseason, and this has been a very long prep for me. I would be fine sitting out the Olympia to bring my best in 2022 and truly that is what I want, not to just participate in the Olympia, but be a contender.

Renee decided to do Tampa, so I believe she will get to the O this year and then I will have to make the decision of doing it with her or sitting out. But I will go on to Tampa and compete since I will be there anyway, and it will at least lock me in for points if not get me a chance to win Tampa.

Post show I pulled food back hard to drop weight for making the 212 class. This was taking macros to 177c/270p/20f. This dropped 7lbs in 5 days. Ideally, I want to sit around 208-209 and then be able to feed hard after making weight. This might include sushi and off plan foods to make the weight stick. I actually was pushing food higher in Chicago and the weight was not sticking as much. I think I needed more fats and likely more sodium in turn as well.

Gear wise I am adding in NPP as I want to increase fullness and I am not worried about subQ water as I have no fat to hold water around and in adipocytes. This majority of water if present will be within the muscle intra and extracellularly.

Cardio will stay the same though.
