Chicago Pro Prep 2021

6 Weeks Out: Another show change

ATHLETE SUMMARY:

PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

COACHING SUMMARY:

EVALUATION OF PAST WEEK:

Another show change…I know I promise this will be the last one. Renee and I realized her show, Phoenix Pro, was the last qualifier for the Olympia and only gave her one shot at it. So, we wanted to give her two swings, so Chicago and Tampa made sense. Since I would be in Chicago anyway, I might as well compete. This gets me to stage sooner and I will have more time to prep for O, if I qualify. This has been a tough one mentally to have to keep changing and really, we are both getting tired of prepping and look forward to an offseason phase. For one to grow, but really so we can have more depth in our relationship that has to get sacrificed while we prep.

Doing Chicago takes away 3 weeks that I thought I would have, so I don’t need to quite pull body fat back down just yet, but very soon. I will go ahead and make a few changes though.

PEDs:

Main change here is dropping out the NPP that I had added in. Hard to say if it was the food increase or the NPP, but I had some crazy fullness and can’t say which it was contributed to, but the food makes the most sense. I do want to go ahead and drop it though and get tren back in my system to prepare for when I pull food and go back into a deficit. Really contemplating running test low and keeping some npp in place, but we shall see. I also added clen back in and upped T3 to 37.5mcg from 25mcg. I am getting lab work this week, so I can review health markers and hormones and dial my protocol in more based on that. Also adding a little bit of Exemestane for lower estrogen and manage water retention.

Nutrition:

No change to nutrition that I set up last week. I will keep food a bit higher for the remainder of the week. Renee and I also took our last cheat meal a few days ago, so I think I still look a bit softer in the pics from it. Just want to see where my physique lands with only PED changes first. I know I can change fast, so I want to pace it out a bit more here.

Cardio/NEAT:

No change to cardio. I kept in the treadmill cardio in the AM fasted and step count at 9000 steps.

Supplements:

All Health supplements are the same. When labs come in I will adjust based on needs.
